About Me

Cynthia (Cindy) Reyes-Pabon, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA-certified, Pennsylvania licensed speech-language pathologist and professor.

She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at PennWest University – Clarion campus (formerly Clarion University of Pennsylvania). Cindy serves as the Director of Clinical Education and an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders of PennWest – Edinboro campus.

She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate students in both clinical and classroom settings for over 20 years and considers it a privilege to serve in this role. Cindy has over 25 years of clinical experience with a wide variety of patient populations in multiple settings including schools, out-patient clinics, inpatient hospitals/rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities. In her role as Director of Clinical Education, Cindy oversees operations for the Governor George Leader Speech and Hearing Center, an out-patient clinic that serves as a training facility for the graduate students in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MSSLP) program. She trains students, staff, and clinical educators on a regular basis to ensure high-quality services for clients and a superior clinical education for graduate students in the program.

Cindy also coordinates external clinical placements for students in the MSSLP program and has facilitated partnerships with hundreds of sites across the United States and Canada. Her primary area of expertise is clinical education.
