Jim Geiger, MHA

Geiger provides strategic direction for the university’s advancement program, including fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement. He leads teams who are responsible for raising funds to provide student scholarships and philanthropic support for PennWest and its campuses; engaging with PennWest’s more than 200,000 alumni; and manages external grant services. He also serves as the university liaison to the three campus-affiliated foundations.

As campus administrator for PennWest Clarion, Geiger serves on the Campus Leadership Team and acts on behalf of the university president, as needed, to oversee campus-specific projects and represents the campus and university to the local community. He also provides oversight and management for Clarion’s Golden Eagles athletics, as well as cabinet-level direction of the California Vulcans and Edinboro’s Fighting Scots athletic programs.
