About Me
Natalie Armstrong, D.Ed., CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at Pennsylvania Western University - Clarion. Dr. Armstrong completed her B.S. in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences at Ohio University, her M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and her D.Ed. in Leadership Studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Armstrong began her career as a speech–language pathologist in skilled nursing facilities with a focus on dysphagia and cognitive-linguistic therapy.
Since joining the faculty at Pennsylvania Western University, Dr. Armstrong has served the profession of speech-language pathology by engaging in research with a focus on interprofessional education/practice and presenting at state conferences.
Dr. Armstrong’s areas of interest are clinical supervision, IPE/IPP, adult swallowing disorders, and adult neurogenic disorders.
