About Me
Dr. Nicole Carroll is an associate professor of nursing for the Department of Nursing and Health Professions. Dr. Carroll earned her ASN from Clarion University. She obtained her BSN, Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Her research interests include empowering new graduate nurses for retention in the workforce. She began teaching for Pennsylvania Western University in 2016.
Prior to this, she spent four years educating Licensed Practical Nurses, and preceding that included working as a registered nurse for Med/Surg, the Emergency Department, and Hospice/Home Care. She is currently the co-coordinator for the ASN program.
She primarily teaches classroom and clinical courses for the ASN program.
