About Me
Kady Schmidt, MS, CCC-SLP, is an academic and clinical instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. With over 15 years of experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, Kady has worked extensively across early intervention (Birth to 3, 3-5) and K-12 public education settings.
Her expertise lies in delivering comprehensive, individualized services to children and families, focusing on improving communication outcomes and fostering development. Kady’s professional interests include early intervention, school-based services and supports, advocacy and outreach, and education.
She is committed to bridging gaps in service delivery, empowering individuals and families, and enhancing collaboration within educational and community systems.
Kady has achieved ABD (All but Dissertation) status in her doctoral studies in Special Education at Slippery Rock University.
