PennWest California invites all members of Vulcan Nation to celebrate our 2024 Homecoming. This year’s theme is “Party in the USA.”

Friday, Oct. 18

Homecoming weekend opens at 12:30 p.m. Friday with the Class of 1974 Reunion Luncheon. The luncheon, which will take place at the North Wing Convocation Center, is invite only, and tickets will cost $25 a person. Homecoming continues with the annual African American Alumni Society and Black Student Union Panel Discussion, taking place at 7 p.m. in Steele Hall.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Homecoming’s main festivities begin at 10 a.m. with our Pre-Parade festivities on the Duda Lawn. Families are invited to have fun playing in the bounce house, visiting the petting zoo, and visiting our food and novelty vendors.

Alumni are also invited to swing by Kara Alumni House for the annual Party on the Patio to catch up with fellow alumni and enjoy brunch with family and friends.

The party continues at noon with the annual Homecoming Parade. Featuring floats from our Greek Life, bands from area high schools, and the presentation of our 2024 Homecoming Court, the parade is a beloved tradition at Cal.

Following the parade, everyone is invited up to Roadman Park to take part in the Tailgate Party. Featuring pre-game food and fun, Vulcan Nation is invited to get hyped prior to watching our football team take on Slippery Rock at 3 p.m. During halftime, PennWest California will also coronate our 2024 Homecoming King and Queen.
