Honors Program Policies

The Honors Program strives to provide academic, professional, and social opportunities to ambitious and high achieving students. Honors students must remain in Good Standing within the Honors program in order to complete the requirements. Please review these policies and then visit the Honors Program Acceptance Form to indicate your understanding of these policies and your acceptance into the Honors Program.

In order to remain in Good Standing and complete the Honors Program students must:

Maintain 3.25 cumulative GPA; maintain a minimum Honors Program GPA of 3.25.
Attend an All-Honors meeting every year.
Attend one Honors Program sponsored event, speaker, or excursion per semester.
Complete 18 credits of honors coursework by the time of graduation. (These credits are included in the credits all students require for graduation; Honors students do not take more credits than non-honor students).
Complete the minimum requirements for the Honors Program Portfolio.
