Do you enjoy the challenges of engineering along with hands-on problem solving? PennWest’s Electrical Engineering Technology degree can pave the way for a rewarding career in which you configure new systems and pave the way for the future of electronics.

This fully accredited undergraduate program offers you a strong blend of theoretical and practical concepts in electrical engineering technology, software engineering technology and hardware engineering technology as well as mathematics, computer science, natural science and general education. You can opt for the Electrical Engineering Technology track or pursue a specialized concentration in Computer Engineering Technology.

In either case, you’ll thrive in small classes led by distinguished faculty who have real-world experience in the field of electrical engineering. Coursework, research and experiments take place in four on-campus labs that feature state-of-the art instruments, including National Instruments ELVIS trainers, mixed-signal oscilloscopes and more.

There will be many opportunities for research, including a senior project and options to work with faculty on grant-funded and other research projects. You’ll gain job experience through internships and/or paid career experience opportunities. You’ll graduate eligible to sit for a pre-licensing Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and ready to become a top performer in business, industry, and society.
