Start your journey toward a rewarding career as a pharmacist with PennWest’s Associate of Science in Pre-Pharmacy. With over 30 years of experience in pharmacy education, this program is tailored to meet the rigorous curriculum requirements of professional pharmacy schools.

Furthermore, thanks to an articulation agreement with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), you can reach your goal of becoming a pharmacist quicker. Instead of spending four years of undergraduate school and four years of professional school to earn your Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, this associate degree prepares you for acceptance into a LECOM’s highly ranked pharmacy school in just two or three years.

Our expert faculty utilize modern instructional techniques and instrumentation to help you develop the theoretical and practical skills that will put you on the path towards professional pharmacy school. You’ll start with a strong foundation in chemistry, physics, biology and math. Along the way, you will acquire strong critical and independent thinking and communications skills and enjoy a collegial exchange of ideas and knowledge. Your academic advisor will work with you to ensure you meet all the requirements for applying to the LECOM professional program, or to move on to a related baccalaureate degree.
