Charged each semester based on credit load and residency status. Full-time tuition is based on a credit load of 12-18 credit hours for an undergraduate student. Graduate students are charged by the credit, no full-time rate. Students registering for credits in excess of the maximums will be charged for each additional credit at the current rate. Tuition for students taking summer and/or winter classes will be charged by the credit hour. Tuition is set yearly by the State System of Higher Education, Board of Governors.
Tuition and Technology Fees
Charged each semester to each student. Fee enables the university to invest in instructional technology by upgrading computer labs and classrooms and providing other technological enhancements. (Fee set by the Board of Governors).
Other Fees
Charged to partially defray the cost of materials supplied to students enrolled in art courses.
Fee for private voice, music and theatre lessons.
Charged for classes with an ART course prefix to cover increased cost of technology and small sized studio classes. Fee is not charged to Art History or Art Education courses.
Charged each semester to each student in order to upgrade instructional equipment, improve library holdings, and for other instructional purposes.
Charged to students enrolled in nursing courses that include a lab component. This fee covers expenses related to providing specialized equipment, materials, and resources necessary for hands-on training and practical experience in laboratory setting.
Charged each semester to students taking on campus courses to cover the cost of operating and maintaining the student recreation centers at each campus. Following is how they are identified based on campus:

- EDI University Center Fee*
*for Edinboro students the Recreation center is also included in this fee.
Charged on various courses in the science, technology, engineering, math, health, and nursing programs. This fee covers expenses related to providing specialized equipment, materials, and resources necessary for hands-on training and practical experience in laboratory setting.
Charged each semester to students in taking on campus courses. The fee is administered by the Student Associations at each campus, which is a student organization approved by the Council of Trustees. The fee covers or discounts the cost of athletic, social, musical, theatre, and recreational activities. Following is how they are identified based on campus:

The State System of Higher Education requires that student unions be funded through a student fee. The Student Center fee is charged to students taking on campus courses each semester. The fee provides for the fiscal support of Student Union programs, services, and operations including maintenance, utilities, staffing, equipment, and special activities and events. Following is how they are identified based on campus:

Charged each semester to students taking on campus courses to cover the cost of a broad array of career, counseling, tutoring, and technical student services and programs that are integral to student success. Provided services such as Health Center Services, Counseling Center, and Career Services.
