As the integral core of campus life activity, the Frank G. Pogue Student Center (lovingly referred to as “Pogue”) is the living room of campus.  With retail dining, lounges, campus fitness center, meeting rooms and programming space, it is home to Student Government Association, Campus Life and Student Engagement, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Residence Life and Housing, Campus Recreation, and more!

With all of the latest and greatest in gaming consoles, as well as billiard tables and retro arcade games, the Game Room is a fun, vibrant place to get away and have a good time with friends!

The Convenience Store is located within the game room, offering a variety of snacks and drinks.  You can also rent movies and buy tickets for upcoming student events!

Use of the Fitness Center is free to students, and features both cardio and selectorize machines.  In addition, there are two aerobic/dance studios that offer regular fitness classes, an elevated track overlooking Mallory Lake, two Cross-Fit rooms, as well as two gymnasiums to accommodate multiple activities. Also included in the recreation area are the CORE Office (Campus Outdoor Recreation Experience), climbing gym, and racquetball courts. Both men's and women's locker rooms feature steam rooms and saunas. We also offer a gender-inclusive/ADA-compliant locker room.

  • The Information Desk serves as the central hub offering information resources for students, staff, and guests. It also offers services such as PennWest One Card printing, the university switchboard, event reservations, and building operations.
  • The Student Government Association (SGA) Office represents the PennWest Edinboro student body.  Members work to improve the campus culture, provide innovative solutions to student concerns, and assist clubs and organizations in their personal development as well as their programming efforts across campus.
  • The University Programming Board (UPB) Office houses the students and staff that make up the primary programming organization for the student body.  From DIY events to grocery bingo to the annual spring concert, UPB is involved in almost every major university event to ensure that there are always fun programs for students to enjoy.
  • The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion helps to support university-wide initiatives focused on ensuring that PennWest is inclusive and welcoming to all.  Students and staff collaborate to provide programs and services that promote diversity, student success, and leadership opportunities.
  • The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs & Campus Life functions as the central hub for student affairs on the Edinboro campus.  The Campus Life area offers key resources, including student organization leadership, the PennWest Edinboro Pantry for food and essential supplies, and plays a major role in organizing campus events such as New Student Orientations, Homecoming, and Welcome Weekend, all which enhance campus life at the Boro.
  • The Residence Life and Housing Office is your one-stop shop for all things housing.  Questions about room styles, pricing, housing deadlines, what to bring and what not to bring, roommates and more – the staff has the answers you’re looking for. 

 

  • The Multipurpose Room is a versatile meeting and performance space used for a variety of campus activities.
  • The Scot Cinema is a 75-seat theatre space that can be used for presentations, small performances, movies, and more.  Sound, lights, and projector are available.
  • Conference Rooms (143, 303A, 303B, 303C, 309, 310) are equipped with theatre, classroom, or open U-style seating, presentation monitors, and Zoom capabilities via OWL or webcam.
  • Board Room (308) features a board table with chairs, presentation monitor, and Zoom capabilities through a webcam.

  • The Celtic Court (featuring the Ghost Kitchen) is the primary retail dining option on campus, featuring four concepts, including Craft customizable fresh smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, signature fries; Agave authentic Mexican and Central American street foods including tacos, quesadillas, burritos and rice bowls with homemade corn ships and fresh salsas; Flatz customizable flatbread pizzas with specialty toppings; and Tossed made to order fully customizable fresh salads and healthy ancient grain bowls.  All items can be easily ordered ahead through our Grub Hub app and conveniently picked up when you want it.
  • The Barista features We Proudly Serve Starbucks brewed coffee, expresso beverages, blended drinks, cookie bars, muffins, and breakfast pastries as well as local Lakeside Bagels, made to order sandwiches and salads and fresh portable fare.  The Barista is also a great place to study, socialize, or just hang out with friends!

  • The Commuter Lounge, located on the second floor, features study tables, lounge furniture, TV, microwave, refrigerator, and lockers.
  • The PennWest Edinboro Pantry assists our students by providing food, academic supplies and personal hygiene items, so they can continue on the path toward graduation. Students in need can ask to receive food or non-food supplies (personal hygiene items or school supplies) online, and items can be picked up in the Commuter Lounge.
  • The PennWest Edinboro Bookstore is your go-to destination for purchasing textbooks, computer hardware and software, school supplies, and PennWest Edinboro apparel and gear.   • The University Mailroom, located on the lower level of the building, is the place to pick up all residential student mail as well as departmental mail.
