Choose how you want to register and complete the registration form. The last day to register for the primary is October 21, 2024.

Register online.
Register in person at your county registration office.
Register in person at a PennDOT Driver’s License Center.
Print out a registration form, fill it in and mail it to your county registration office.

This year, there are two ways to vote: in person or by mail. You can decide which is safest and most convenient for you.

Go to your designated polling place and vote in person between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day – Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Find your designated voting site.
If you are voting at this polling place for the first time, you will need to show ID.
Acceptable photo ID includes: a Pennsylvania driver’s license or PennDOT ID card, U.S. passport or government ID, U.S. Armed Forces ID, student or employee photo ID.
Acceptable non-photo ID must include the voter’s name and address, such as a confirmation issued by your county’s Voter Registration Office, ID issued by Pennsylvania or the U.S. government, a firearms permit, government check, or current utility bill, bank statement of paycheck.

Apply for your mail-in or absentee ballot. The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is October 29, 2024.
When your ballot arrives, fill it out carefully, following the instructions; place your ballot in the secrecy envelope, then put the secrecy envelope in the official envelope. Be sure to sign the declaration, or your ballot may not count.
Mail right away. To be counted, your ballot must arrive at your county election office on time.

If you lived in Pennsylvania but have now moved out of state, you should notify the county election office where you were registered.
