PennWest Edinboro's Event Services provides a professional, comfortable and efficient customer experience for anyone seeking to hold an event on campus.

Coming this fall, the PennWest campus community could reserve space at PennWest through EMS on the myPennWest portal. PennWest’s campus events office is launching the Direct Spaces app that will allow students, faculty and staff  to reserve space on mobiles device as well. There are now two ways to access the reservation system at your fingertips.

From the Portal

By logging onto the myPennWest portal, individuals can access the EMS system under the staff quick access card by clicking on the Event Services Space Reservations/EMS link.

  • Login requires PennWest account credentials
  • To begin a new reservation using EMS, users simply select the appropriate space request template based on the user type (faculty/staff or student) and campus location.

From Mobile Device

  • Login requires PennWest account credentials.
  • To begin a new reservation using Direct Spaces, users simply select the appropriate campus location and complete the requested information. By setting your date, time and building, Direct Spaces will provide you a list of spaces available for reservation. If you preferred room is not shown, the space is already booked.

Note: Faculty/Staff – All course/class-related scheduling changes and classroom assignment requests should continue to be submitted through schedule@pennwest.edu. EMS is only for non-course related meeting and event requests.

The mobile app should be used only for meeting reservations. The app does not allow for requests for dining, police coverage or work orders. Use the desktop version in the myPennWest portal for such requests.
